Well well ! I was not expecting the continued conversation with Islamabad’s Kathy ! And I’m completely thrilled 😄 gaining more insight into possible motives behind The Supreme Leader staying in his office ( who knew!) as well as how quickly the Iranian government regrouped to name those now in charge - these are only two of the many relevant points made as Jeff lead Kathy to consider various positions in terms of her years as an AP News director for Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as writing coverage for The Middle East.

I will put this session online to attract others that “ have the good sense” to play musical chairs with us whereby the truth travels fast forward. Thanks to you both. There are thousands of us out here starved for just one good bite of truth ! Keep the feeds open and we promise to bear fruit for democracy !

A thought: Since the supreme leader was 86 and the recent upheaval with the protests, is there the possibility the leadership council was prepared for his death regardless of how he would die?

Thank you Kathy for your insight. I hadn’t clocked that even though it’s Ramadan, that it was a very peculiar and interesting that Khamenei remained in his office knowing it was the first obvious target. Jeff, I think you’re going to have Kathy regularly now (pretty please 🙏) .

Oh I've just finished yesterday's & commented on there! - Wow thanks both of you. Kathy - I hope you're feeling a bit better than yesterday. What you don't know about the Middle East and journalism there, probably isn't worth knowing. Thank you x

yes that's exactly what I've been wondering, that this was intentional martyrdom to strengthen the regime against internal opposition. Thank you so much for bringing us this report straight from the source! 🙏🏻❤️‍🔥🙏🏻

thank you Jeff and Kathy. it's important to understand that there can be differences in ideology and that plays such an important role in humanity. But at the end of the day, we need to be able to allow that to be ok. I guess the question is, why can't we just allow others to have their opinions and accept it? As long as other people in the world are just doing their best to live their lives on their soil. why can't we just leave them alone? I've taken my shoes off and put theirs on. I got it. I'm ashamed to be an American at this point in time. Regime change should be happening in the United States of America. I think it's only a matter of time, but I also think that it will not be through political measures, that's way to corrupt. I wish I could find an answer. I love you dearly and Kathy is truly amazing. stay safe and strong. Holly.......she's such a great partner and Rockstar.

Why target a sport hall full of young girls ? LAMERD, IRAN—Dozens of teenage girls were attending their regular training sessions of volleyball, basketball, and gymnastics in the main sports hall in Lamerd, a city near the Persian coast, when a missile slammed into the building at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Why does America and Israel fall for the bravado and propaganda attractiveness of such leaders, above intelligence and at least a proven intellect and best interests for their country?
